YABN and Adaro Partner with PRSI to Introduce SIGMA Robotics Program in Tabalong

Yayasan Amanah Bangun Negeri (YABN) and PT Adaro Indonesia have partnered with the Indonesian Robotics Association (PRSI) to launch the SIGMA Robotics Program in Tabalong. This initiative, themed 'Science & Innovation for the Future Generation of Banua and Indonesia,' aims to enhance educational quality across the region.

The SIGMA Robotics Program will be implemented in 14 elementary schools in Tabalong Regency. Its primary goals are to broaden access to robotics education and strengthen Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) literacy among young students. The official launch ceremony included the symbolic handover of robotics learning equipment to representatives from the participating schools.

This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to preparing Indonesian youth for a future shaped by technological advancements and to equip them to contribute to the nation's development in the digital era. Zuraida Murdia Hamdie, Chair of the YABN Board, emphasized that STEM literacy at the elementary level is crucial for developing higher-order thinking skills, enabling students to excel in science, foster innovation, and create value throughout their lives.

Aan Nurhadi, CSR Section Head at PT Adaro Indonesia, stated that the company is committed to supporting technology-based education through the SIGMA Robotics Program. Tabalong is the pilot location, with the hope that it will serve as a model for robotics education development in elementary schools nationwide. Riksa Rifqi Fuadi from PRSI expressed gratitude for Tabalong being chosen as the launch site, recognizing it as a significant step in expanding robotics education access from an early age.
