Young Tak says he wants two children after being moved by brothers’ bond

Young Tak arrived as the “Jjin-iya uncle” on KBS2’s ‘The Return of Superman’ and quickly put aside his initial worries about caring for children. He had said he had little experience connecting with children and wondered whether he could do well.

Those concerns soon disappeared. Young Tak handled Eun-woo and Jung-woo with ease, drawing admiration during the visit with Kim Jun-ho and his two sons.

Seeing Kim Jun-ho, who is 11 years younger, already raising two children also made Young Tak reflect on his own hopes. “If I can get married someday, I should,” he said. “I want to have two children. I’m an only child, so I often feel lonely.”

He was especially touched when Eun-woo cried because he was worried about Jung-woo. “I was deeply moved. There was an indescribable ache in my heart,” Young Tak said.

During the episode, he entertained the brothers by singing “Jjin-iya” with a snake toy around his neck, attempting a handstand and organizing a soccer lesson. Jung-woo also added to the fun with an impressive eating performance. The program airs Wednesdays at 8:30 p.m. on KBS2.
