YoungStarz Tour Unearths Three Young Malaysian Singers

The YoungStarz Tour (YST) Radio Lagu Hits 2026 marks a significant initiative by Sony Music Entertainment Malaysia and MindOrder Sdn Bhd to unearth and nurture the next generation of Malaysian singing sensations. The inaugural school tour, held at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Putrajaya Presint 18 (1), has already showcased impressive talent, with 16-year-old Haieqal Daienish clinching the top spot.

This is the first time a singing competition organized by an artist management company and a record label has been held in a school. It is a smart and effective idea to approach teenagers who are talented in singing.

This competition is more than just a talent search; it's a platform designed to connect with and inspire young Malaysians. As Naqiu, representing MindOrder Sdn Bhd, highlighted, bringing the competition directly into schools is a strategic move to reach budding artists. The overwhelming response, with over 200 initial entries, underscores the immense talent pool waiting to be discovered within our educational institutions.

We also did not expect more than 200 students to send in entries through the social media platform, but only 18 managed to pass the screening stage to compete today.

The tour's expansion to other states like Johor, Melaka, Pahang, Pulau Pinang, and Kelantan promises to spread this positive engagement across the nation.
