Youth Employment, Senior Welfare Key Focus for Kuala Pilah Incumbent

The Kuala Pilah district has seen significant development since the Pakatan Harapan (PH) administration took over the Negeri Sembilan state government in 2018, according to incumbent state assemblywoman Datuk Noorzunita Begum Mohd. Ibrahim. She highlighted that development has progressed rapidly while maintaining the area's rural identity and traditions.

"We can see the development in Kuala Pilah is increasingly rapid. Dataran Melang has now become a landmark, attracting visitors," Noorzunita said. She noted that the district uniquely balances urban development with rural life, where residents continue agricultural and livestock activities. The completion of the new RM153 million Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital (HTAN) Kuala Pilah, which is now operational, also aims to reduce congestion in the existing facilities.

Further infrastructure improvements include the upgrading of the Seremban-Kuala Pilah road, resurfacing of village roads, and road maintenance managed by local authorities. Noorzunita expressed her hope to continue Kuala Pilah's development for the people's well-being if given another mandate, ensuring the district remains peaceful, prosperous, and united.

If re-elected in the upcoming Negeri Sembilan state election, Noorzunita plans to prioritize job creation for young people and the welfare of retired senior citizens. Her focus is on creating more employment opportunities to prevent youth from migrating to other districts for work and to ensure the well-being of elderly retirees.
