YTR, victim of assault by Taufik Hidayat, shows gradual improvement

The condition of YTR, a 29-year-old victim of alleged prolonged abuse and confinement by her partner Taufik Hidayat, is gradually improving following intensive care at RSHS Bandung hospital.

YTR will undergo staged surgeries based on medical evaluations after each procedure. "This surgery cannot be done just once. Previously, the West Java Regional Police had named Taufik Hidayat a suspect in the case, which allegedly involved three years of confinement and abuse in a rented room in Cileunyi, Bandung Regency. The victim sustained severe injuries affecting her physical condition, including vision impairment, speech difficulties, and inability to walk normally.
