Yua Mikami's first overseas birthday fan meeting set for Aug. 29 in Taipei

Yua Mikami, a popular member of the TPBL Formosa Dreamers' cheerleading team, is set to host her first-ever birthday fan meeting outside of Japan. The event will take place in Taipei on August 29, offering fans a unique opportunity to connect with the idol.

Mikami, who joined the Dreamers' cheerleading squad, Formosa Sexy, for the 2025-2026 season, has become a fan favorite. Her vibrant stage presence and friendly demeanor have earned her widespread acclaim, culminating in her receiving the league's Most Popular Cheerleader award last season.

While Mikami typically holds birthday events in Japan, she decided to add a Taipei date this year in response to the enthusiastic support from her Taiwanese fans. This marks her first birthday celebration held internationally, and she anticipates a memorable time with her fans and supporters in Taiwan.

The fan meeting will be capped at 300 attendees, with two ticket tiers available: Zone A at NT$6,980 for 100 seats and Zone B at NT$3,980 for 200 seats. A limited number of seats will be reserved for Dreamers members' priority purchase. Ticket sales officially begin on August 19 through the ibon ticketing system. The event promises various segments designed to showcase Mikami's multifaceted charm beyond the basketball court.
