Zelenskyy condemns Russian strikes on civilians in Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy vehemently condemned what he described as "deliberate Russian terror" following missile and drone attacks that struck civilian areas in Chernihiv and Zaporizhzhia. Zelenskyy emphasized that Russia's continued targeting of ordinary civilian objects, such as a store in Chernihiv hit by a "cynical drone strike," lacks any military justification. He highlighted the human cost, noting that the attack in Chernihiv injured 13 people, including a child, while a separate strike in Zaporizhzhia killed one person and injured six. "Russians continue to declare 'victory' against ordinary civilian objects," Zelenskyy stated on Telegram, denouncing the attacks as having "absolutely no military justification."
