Zetrix AI aims to boost national blockchain and artificial intelligence ecosystem

Zetrix AI Berhad is actively working to bolster Malaysia's standing in the global technology arena by fostering an integrated ecosystem that merges blockchain and artificial intelligence (AI). This strategic move supports the Malaysian government's strong emphasis on digital transformation and the widespread adoption of cutting-edge technologies across both public and private sectors.

Datuk Fadzli Shah Anuar, Co-Founder of Zetrix, highlighted Malaysia's strategic position, ranking second among ASEAN nations and 23rd globally in technological readiness. To capitalize on this potential, Zetrix AI is concentrating on three core pillars of the digital ecosystem: infrastructure, digital identity, and commercial application support. "Blockchain and AI are key technologies that will change how data is managed. If blockchain replaces methods of decentralized data delivery and organization, AI functions to intelligently transform how that data is used," he explained.

To ensure the security and trustworthiness of this ecosystem, Zetrix AI has forged a strategic partnership with MIMOS Berhad, a research and development agency under the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation (MOSTI). Together, they are developing the National Blockchain Infrastructure. This framework is designed to be open, allowing various blockchain networks to integrate securely, mirroring successful models implemented in China and other regional countries. "This infrastructure approach acts as an open framework that enables various blockchain networks to integrate securely, similar to models implemented in China and several regional countries," Fadzli Shah told Utusan Malaysia.

Regarding digital identity, Zetrix AI fully supports the My Digital ID initiative under Malaysia's Digital Economy Blueprint. As an early partner, Zetrix AI is driving this integration through its blockchain network platform. Notably, they are the first private third-party service enabling users to log in using My Digital ID, even preceding some government agencies, demonstrating the private sector's agility. Furthermore, Zetrix AI is collaborating with the Chinese government to establish ASEAN China AI Labs in Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta. These facilities will serve as development and guidance centers to assist local companies in localizing AI technology for domestic markets. Fadzli Shah also pointed to the "One-Person Enterprise" phenomenon, rapidly growing in China, as a major future trend where individuals could manage large-scale businesses with a small team of AI agents.
