According to media reports citing the Alaska Beacon, a passenger on the cruise ship 'Wilderness Legacy,' Michael Love, posted on social media that his vessel rescued the stranded boat after the Coast Guard had notified them that Zuckerberg's yacht, which was closer, repeatedly refused to respond.

The spokesperson explained that the crew did not intentionally disregard the distress call. They stated that the small boat's situation was not critical, and by the time the crew saw the Coast Guard's message on a different radio channel, rescue efforts were already underway.
