125 Students Undergo Police Academy Cadet Training in Banjarbaru

Ahead of the 2026/2027 academic year, 125 students at SRT 9 Banjarbaru in South Kalimantan participated in a discipline and character-building program with Police Academy cadets. The initiative, held from August 3-7, 2026, is part of efforts to re-establish boarding life rhythms after students' extended holiday.

The program focused on character development, discipline, and preparing students physically and mentally for boarding school. The head of SRT 9 Banjarbaru, Rifki Hakim, explained that students were called back earlier than the official start of the school's orientation period to allow ample time for adaptation.

The cadets led activities including drills, discipline training, and character reinforcement. These sessions aimed not only to instill physical discipline but also to foster leadership, responsibility, teamwork, and environmental awareness. Drills, for instance, were presented as more than just team-building exercises; they were intended to teach students respect for rules, improve concentration, manage emotions, and build self-confidence through group cooperation.
