18-Year-Old Suspect Arrested After Killing 2 in Kentucky Bank Robbery

A shocking act of violence has marred the town of Berea, Kentucky, as an 18-year-old gunman, identified as Braelin Weaver, carried out a deadly robbery at a U.S. Bank branch. The incident, which occurred on the afternoon of April 30, has sent ripples of fear and disbelief through the community.

According to reports, Weaver, disguised with a black hood and gloves, entered the bank and immediately opened fire, tragically killing one male victim and a bank teller. After the shooting, he proceeded to search drawers for cash before making his escape. The brazenness of the crime was compounded by Weaver's subsequent actions on social media.

Authorities were able to track Weaver down thanks to surveillance footage linking a silver BMW seen near the crime scene to his Facebook account. In a disturbing display, Weaver posted an image on Facebook depicting an alien holding a large sum of money shortly after the robbery. His attempt to evade capture ended in a high-speed car chase on Interstate 75, where he was eventually apprehended after crashing his vehicle.
