2026 KYK Dormitory Applications Expected Soon

Thousands of university students are awaiting the official announcement of the application period for 2026 student dormitories, managed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (GSB). While the exact dates remain unconfirmed, the application calendar is anticipated to be released soon.

Given that university registrations are scheduled between August 24-28, 2026, it is projected that dormitory applications will become accessible in the final days of August or the first week of September. Both new university entrants and continuing students will be able to apply during this period. Separate application windows will be announced later for students transferring, pursuing master's degrees, or seeking additional placements.

Prospective applicants must use the e-Devlet platform (turkiye.gov.tr) to submit their applications once they open. It is crucial for students to verify the accuracy and currency of their educational information on e-Devlet before applying, as incomplete or incorrect details will render applications invalid. Those without an e-Devlet password can obtain one from the nearest PTT branch or use alternative secure login methods.
