Marmaray Adds Services for Fenerbahçe-Lyon Match

To accommodate fans attending the UEFA Champions League match between Fenerbahçe and Lyon, Marmaray will run extra train services on the evening of August 18, 2026. The match is scheduled to conclude late at the Fenerbahçe Stadium, and these additional services are designed to ensure smooth and safe transportation for attendees returning to their homes.

TCDD Taşımacılık and Marmaray management announced the special transportation arrangement to ease the post-match travel burden. The extra trains will operate on both sides of the Marmaray route to manage the expected crowd and facilitate easier commutes for citizens.

The planned additional services include a train departing from Söğütlüçeşme station at 00:06, arriving in Pendik. Another service will depart from Yenikapı at 00:14, also heading to Pendik. Furthermore, a train is scheduled to leave Söğütlüçeşme at 00:25, with Halkalı as its destination.
