2027: APC to mobilise over 4m canvassers to man 176,846 polling units across Nigeria

Nigeria's ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is gearing up for the 2027 general elections by planning an extensive grassroots mobilization campaign. The party intends to deploy 25 canvassers to each of the 176,846 polling units across the country, aiming to enlist a total of over 4 million party agents.

Senator Hope Uzodimma, who also chairs the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF) and serves as the Director-General of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), announced the plan. This strategic move signals the APC's commitment to a robust presence at the local level, ensuring comprehensive coverage and engagement with voters in the lead-up to the next electoral cycle.

The mobilization effort is a significant undertaking, highlighting the party's focus on organizational strength and voter outreach. By establishing a large network of dedicated agents at the polling unit level, the APC aims to solidify its support base and effectively communicate its message to the electorate.
