2027: Labour coalition declares support for Tinubu

We have come to a conclusion, after wide consultations across sectors of working Nigerians, that the reforms being undertaken by this administration are difficult but necessary. We are not blind to the challenges Nigerians are facing, but we are also convinced that without these structural reforms, the country would have been heading towards a more dangerous economic situation.

WOPU's National President, Comr. Williams Akporeha, articulated the group's rationale, emphasizing that their decision was informed by extensive consultations with working Nigerians. He acknowledged the current economic hardships but asserted that President Tinubu's reform-driven agenda, while difficult, is crucial to prevent a more severe economic crisis.
