40,000 Quran Copies Distributed to Bangka Belitung

In a significant move to bolster religious education, the Badan Wakaf Al-Qur’an (BWA) has successfully distributed 40,000 copies of the Quran across five regencies and cities in the Bangka Belitung Province. This initiative, which took place from April 13-22, 2026, marks the beginning of an ambitious program by BWA to provide 100,000 Qurans throughout the province.

The distribution is strategically focused on enhancing the learning and teaching of the Quran in various institutions, including TPA/TPQ (Islamic children's study centers), pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), Quranic houses, and general schools. Special attention is given to remote island areas that have historically faced challenges in accessing adequate religious learning resources, ensuring that the word of God reaches every corner of the archipelago.
