91.06% of early voters cast ballots in Negeri Sembilan election

Early voters in Negeri Sembilan have fulfilled their civic duty, with 91.06% of eligible personnel casting their ballots. A total of 14,995 military and police personnel participated in the early voting process for the 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election.

The Election Commission (SPR) reported that the early voting, held yesterday, saw 16,467 military personnel, their spouses, and police officers eligible to vote. Voting took place across 38 polling stations throughout Negeri Sembilan, with staggered closing times throughout the day.

SPR Secretary Datuk Khairul Shahril Idrus extended congratulations and thanks to the Returning Officers and their teams for their excellent work during the early voting. Appreciation was also given to the Negeri Sembilan State Secretary's Office, the Royal Malaysia Police, the Malaysian Armed Forces, media personnel, and all other stakeholders for their support.

The 16th Negeri Sembilan State Election features 103 candidates vying for 36 State Legislative Assembly seats, with a total of 889,490 registered voters participating on the main polling day.
