Aarón Palacio named best bullfighter at Huesca fair

Aarón Palacio has been recognized as the top bullfighter at the Feria de San Lorenzo in Huesca. The award celebrates his performance throughout the fair, particularly his work on August 11th, which featured bulls from El Pilar.

Other accolades were also presented. The most outstanding bullfight, or faena, was awarded to Manuel Jesús Ruiz, known as El Cid, for his performance with the bull Milhebras. This bull, a 535-kilogram specimen from the Victorino Martín ranch, was also honored as the best bull of the entire fair. The corrida, or bullfight event, organized by Victorino Martín, was likewise named the best of the festival.

Further distinctions included Manuel Escribano receiving the award for the best sword thrust, executed on a Victorino Martín bull on August 13th. Additional prizes recognized Juan Sierra for the best pair of banderillas and his overall work as a peón de brega, and Manuel José Bernal for his performance as a picador. These awards highlight the skilled participants and notable animals within the Huesca bullfighting season.
