Abu Dhabi Restricts Worker Buses at Al Mafraq Bridge Exit Amid Road Closures

The Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility) in Abu Dhabi has implemented a new restriction, prohibiting 50-passenger worker transport buses from using the Al Mafraq Bridge exit (E328B). This exit connects to the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road (E22). The initiative is designed to enhance traffic flow and bolster the safety of all road users. In addition to this restriction, Abu Dhabi Mobility has announced a series of temporary road closures. Three left-hand lanes leading to Al Maqta Bridge on the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain Road (E22) will be closed from midnight Saturday, August 15, to 3:00 PM Sunday, August 16. Furthermore, two right-hand lanes heading towards Al Ain on the same road will be closed from midnight Saturday until 5:00 AM on Monday, August 17. Closures will also affect Greater Tunb Street, with one lane shut in both directions from midnight Saturday to midnight Sunday, followed by continued closures from 1:00 AM Sunday to 1:00 AM Monday, August 17. Arabian Gulf Street (E20) will also see two right-side lanes heading towards Sweihan closed from Saturday midnight until Monday, August 17, at 5:00 AM.
