Her father, renowned composer Iman Wan Tuck Meng, has voiced doubts about her readiness for a singing career, suggesting she is not yet prepared and could be taken advantage of in the industry.

Arena, 27, acknowledged her father's concerns, noting his belief that she is "not a singer" and perhaps not "ready." She mentioned that he advised against her first single and has consistently expressed reservations since her school days. "He knows I went for the audition, but he doesn't believe I'll get it.
