ADC condemns illegal occupation of secretariat in Ekiti by ex-chair

The Ekiti State chapter of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued a strong condemnation against the alleged illegal occupation of its state party secretariat. The party leadership accuses the former State Chairman, Ilesanmi Omolayo, of orchestrating the forceful takeover.

According to the ADC, Omolayo, along with individuals described as "hoodlums" posing as party officials, illegally entered and occupied the secretariat. The party views this action as a direct violation of its established procedures and a challenge to its legitimate leadership in the state.

The ADC leadership has publicly denounced the incident, emphasizing its illegality and demanding an immediate cessation of the occupation. The party seeks to regain lawful control of its facilities and ensure that internal party matters are resolved through appropriate channels, not through forceful means.
