Aguascalientes C5i recognized for technological advancements in public safety

The C5i center in Aguascalientes has earned recognition from Airbus Public Safety and Security Mexico, highlighting its advanced technology and operational effectiveness in public safety. The award was presented during the TechDay 2026 technology event, which gathered national and international security specialists.

Michelle Olmos Álvarez, head of the C5i, accepted the award, attributing it to the center's operational capabilities, cutting-edge infrastructure, and coordinated efforts. She emphasized that under Governor Tere Jiménez's leadership and the state's Blindaje Aguascalientes Security and Justice Plan, the state has built a robust security system. This system integrates intelligence, technology, and inter-institutional collaboration, which has helped maintain Aguascalientes as one of Mexico's most secure regions.

Under the leadership of the governor Tere Jiménez and with the backing of the Plan de Seguridad y Justicia Blindaje Aguascalientes, the state has consolidated a security system based on intelligence, technology, and coordination between institutions, which has allowed Aguacalientes to remain among the safest entities in the country.

The C5i operates as a critical node, utilizing real-time data processing and advanced IT tools to manage responses. The 911 Emergency Service serves as the primary link to the public. Olmos Álvarez stated, "Every call answered is an opportunity to protect a life and provide support to those who need it most."

The event was attended by various local officials, including the state's Secretary of Public Security and the Attorney General, as well as representatives from Airbus, the Mexican Army, and the National Guard, underscoring the collaborative approach to enhancing public security in the state.
