Alexandria Education Directorate announces sweeping leadership changes affecting 17 posts

Alexandria's Education Directorate has reshuffled 17 leadership posts across the governorate's nine educational administrations as part of a plan to renew its senior ranks.

Directorate head Araby Abu Zeid said the changes would bring in experienced and capable officials, improve administrative performance and strengthen discipline in educational institutions. He linked the move to efforts to support education-development plans and improve services for students and parents.

The appointments cover Montazah 2, Montazah 1, East, Central, Customs, West, Agami, Amreya and Borg El Arab educational administrations. The new officials include Adel Ali Hussein and deputy Hisham Abdel Wahab Othman in Montazah 2; Amgad Mohamed Atef and deputy Tarek Mostafa Fouda in Montazah 1; and Sherif Mohamed Fathy and deputy Nagia Fouad in the East administration.

Sami Fadl and Mohamed Soliman were assigned to lead the Central administration as director and deputy. Rouhia Abu Ghali and Samar Hussein took the corresponding roles in Customs, while El-Sayed El-Azouk and Nahed Mohamed Hussein were assigned to West.

In Agami, Heba Mahmoud Ali Soliman became general director and Hiam Abdel Fattah Shaheen deputy. Rehab Gaber Hafez and Nesma El-Sayed took the two positions in Amreya. In Borg El Arab, Hossam Ahmed Mahmoud became deputy and acting general director.

Abu Zeid said the next phase would require faster work, stronger discipline and continued development to keep schools operating regularly across Alexandria. He expressed confidence that the new leaders could assume responsibility and achieve the directorate's goals.
