All 72 parties must submit written responses

All 72 political parties must provide a written answer on whether they agree with the proposals in Malaysia’s Political Financing Bill.

Azalina Othman Said, the minister in the Prime Minister’s Department for Law and Institutional Reform, said each response must be signed by the party president and secretary-general.

The signatures will establish the party’s official position on drafting the bill, according to the report.
