AmBank hosts media appreciation night in Kuala Lumpur

AmBank Group recently hosted its annual Media Night 2026, bringing together nearly 100 senior editors and journalists for an evening of celebration and relationship building. The event took place at the historic Sultan Abdul Samad Building in Kuala Lumpur.

This annual gathering serves as a key platform for AmBank Group to express its gratitude for the ongoing support and cooperation it receives from media professionals. It also aims to foster and strengthen the long-term partnerships between the banking institution and the press.

Led by AmBank Group CEO Jamie Ling, alongside heads of corporate communications and strategic relations, the event embraced the theme 'Malaysia Kita.' This theme symbolized unity and the close bonds among Malaysians, particularly fitting as it was held shortly before the nation's 69th National Day.

The evening was designed to evoke a sense of nostalgia, with decorations, live entertainment, and performances of classic Malaysian songs transporting guests to an "Old Malaya" atmosphere. The celebration underscored AmBank's commitment to maintaining open communication and meaningful engagement with the media, reflecting a spirit of "Winning Together."
