Andrie Yunus Case Transferred to Military Court Tomorrow

The legal proceedings surrounding the brutal acid attack on activist Andrie Yunus are escalating as the case is set to be handed over to the Military Court 08-II Jakarta. The Military Prosecutor's Office 07-II Jakarta has confirmed receipt of the case file, paving the way for the indictment.

However, the legal team representing Andrie Yunus, known as the Advocacy Team for Democracy (TAUD), argues that the current charges do not fully encompass the extent of the crime. They contend that the evidence strongly suggests an attempted murder plot and have advocated for the inclusion of terrorism charges, a stance reportedly supported by President Prabowo Subianto's earlier assessment of the case.
