Antonelli Leads Norris and Verstappen in Spa Practice Session

Italian driver Kimi Andrea Antonelli, leading the championship, topped the timesheets in the third and final free practice session for the Belgian Grand Prix at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit. Driving for Mercedes, Antonelli completed the 7.004-kilometer track in 1 minute, 45.990 seconds. He finished 0.139 seconds ahead of McLaren's Lando Norris and 0.148 seconds clear of four-time world champion Max Verstappen of Red Bull. Both Norris and Verstappen set their times on soft tires. Spanish drivers Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso qualified 18th and 21st, respectively, while Argentinian Franco Colapinto was 13th. Mexican Sergio Pérez finished 21st. George Russell, second in the championship, secured the fourth fastest time. The session concluded with a crash involving seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton of Ferrari, who went off in the 13th corner, the same spot where Pierre Gasly had an incident on Friday. Hamilton finished the session fifth, behind Antonelli, Russell, Norris, and Verstappen.
