APC candidate Oyebamiji confident of winning Osun governorship election after voting

Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for the Osun governorship election, cast his vote on Saturday and voiced strong confidence in securing a victory. Oyebamiji arrived at his polling unit in Ikire, Irewole Local Government Area, with his wife, Sekinat, and praised the significant turnout of voters.

He interpreted the high turnout as a sign that citizens were not intimidated and that the election process was proceeding smoothly across the state.

Known popularly as AMBO, Oyebamiji expressed optimism about the election's peaceful progression. However, he also called upon the police and other security agencies to maintain vigilance and proactively ensure the security of the state's residents throughout the voting period.

"I believe the election will be credible, and I am confident that I will win this election at the end of the day," Oyebamiji declared after casting his ballot at 10:45 a.m. He was immediately accredited and proceeded to vote. The candidate's statement reflects a positive outlook on both the electoral process and his personal prospects in the election.
