APC Will Fulfill Campaign Promises, Yari Assures Nigerians

Abdul’aziz Yari, the newly appointed Director-General of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, has pledged that the ruling party will honor all promises made to Nigerians. Speaking shortly after arriving at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja, Yari assured the public of the APC's unwavering commitment to its electoral pledges as the party gears up for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid in 2027.

I want to assure Nigerians that whatever promise we made during the campaign, we shall keep. Today we have seen him [Bola Ahmed Tinubu] as President, and by God’s grace he shall be the President come 2027.

Yari, who also represents Zamfara West Senatorial District, viewed the warm reception by party supporters at the airport as a testament to their faith in Tinubu and the APC.

Addressing the gathered crowd, Yari conveyed his gratitude and urged continued support for the president and the party. "The crowd is here to pray for me and for the success of Mr President. Our party is synonymous with keeping our word," he remarked, praying for divine wisdom for the President's leadership. He reiterated the assurance that "we shall fulfil all our campaign promises."

Yari's appointment, announced on Saturday, brings significant political experience to the campaign structure, including his prior roles as governor of Zamfara State and chairman of the Nigeria Governors' Forum.
