Applications sought for National Police Commission positions in Sri Lanka

Sri Lanka's Constitutional Council has initiated a call for applications to fill current and upcoming vacancies within the National Police Commission. This move aims to ensure the commission is adequately staffed to fulfill its mandate.

Interested and qualified individuals are encouraged to submit their applications following a specific format available on the official Parliament of Sri Lanka website (www.parliament.lk). The deadline for submission is July 31, 2026. Applicants must ensure their applications are complete and adhere to the prescribed format.

Completed applications should be directed to the Acting Secretary of the Constitutional Council. Submissions can be made either via registered post to the council's office at the Parliament of Sri Lanka, Sri Jayewardenepura, Kotte, or electronically to a designated email address. The subject line for emails or the upper left corner of the envelope for postal mail must clearly state 'Recommendation for the position of Member of the National Police Commission'.
