Álvaro Arbeloa's brief stint as Real Madrid's first-team coach has concluded, with his departure confirmed after the team's final match against Athletic Club. His tenure, lasting less than five months, followed a longer period coaching in the club's youth academy, La Fábrica.

Arbeloa stepped into the role in January, replacing Xabi Alonso at Real Madrid Castilla, during a challenging season that saw the club finish without any major titles.
