Armed Confrontation in Küçükçekmece Leaves One Injured; Two Arrested

An armed confrontation erupted in Istanbul's Küçükçekmece district, resulting in one injury and the swift apprehension of two suspects. The incident began when two individuals on a motorcycle encountered someone with whom they had a prior dispute on Sena Street in İnönü Mahallesi.

What started as a heated argument quickly escalated into gunfire, with both parties exchanging shots. The motorcyclists, after firing at their adversary, fled the scene. Police and medical teams were dispatched following reports of the shooting.

Emergency services provided initial treatment to the injured individual before transporting them to the hospital. Authorities confirmed that the injured person's life is not in danger. Meanwhile, the two suspects, who fled on the motorcycle, were quickly apprehended by police and are currently undergoing questioning.

Stray bullets from the exchange of gunfire struck a local business and four parked vehicles, underscoring the dangerous and indiscriminate nature of the violence. The entire incident, including the moments of the shootout, was captured on mobile phone cameras by bystanders.
