A brazen robbery in Panama has captured public attention after video footage emerged showing two armed men entering a small supermarket on horseback before carrying out a theft. The incident occurred in Río Hato, a coastal area in the Coclé province.

The video shows the masked assailants, one armed with an automatic weapon, inside the mini-super. After one dismounted to enter the store, the other waited outside on horseback. They fled with the stolen goods shortly after.

Panama's National Police reported the arrest of a minor suspected of being one of the robbers. Authorities are currently conducting searches in the Río Hato area for the second suspect and the horse used in the crime. Subcomisionada María Gutiérrez of the National Police described the event as an "armed robbery where two subjects entered a mini-super in the Río Hato area using a horse."

Despite the supermarket owner reportedly not wishing to press charges, prosecutors have initiated an official investigation due to the clear identification of the alleged perpetrators.
