Baiturrahman Mosque Brings Residents of All Generations Together for the Prophet’s Birthday

The Prophet Muhammad’s birthday celebration at Baiturrahman Mosque in Jatiasih Greenwood Residence brought children, teenagers, Quran students, adults and the mosque’s women’s group into the same community event.

Held at the JGR field in Bekasi on Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, the program began in the morning with cupping services and a coloring competition for children. The competition featured the Baiturrahman prayer hall as its subject. In the afternoon, Soleh Band performed, followed by stories from four young preachers.

Residents then joined dhikr, Ratib Al-Haddad and Maghrib prayers. The main program featured a presentation on the life of the Prophet by Dhiya’ul Lami’, Quran recitation, Maulid poetry and sholawat. Women from the Ummahat group and teenage girls also took part in the sholawat program.

After evening prayers, representatives of the mosque management, neighborhood groups, the community association and BAMUS delivered remarks. Mahalul Qiyam followed, led by the imam and teenage boys, before a sermon by Ustadz Ahmad Rizki Baihaqi, known as Ustadz Pangeran.

Ustadz Pangeran praised the residents for holding the celebration every year. “We are very grateful in Bojong Sari. It is a source of pride for Muslims that every year they remember the Messenger of God through various activities,” he said. Soleh Band and Umi Pica also performed religious songs before the event ended with prayers and a social gathering.
