Banten Customs Facilitates IndoBuildTech 2026 with Bonded Exhibition Venue Facility

The Banten Customs Office is supporting the IndoBuildTech Expo 2026, a major international building materials exhibition, by providing bonded exhibition venue (TPPB) facilities. This initiative aims to ensure the smooth running of the event, which is taking place from July 8-12, 2026, at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD in Tangerang.

Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, officially opened the annual exhibition. Over 550 participants from various countries are showcasing the latest innovations and trends in building materials, architecture, and interior design.

As a trade facilitator, Customs is offering the TPPB facility to ICE BSD, enabling exhibitors to temporarily store imported goods without incurring import duties and taxes, provided they meet the applicable regulations. This simplifies the process of bringing exhibition goods into the country, contributing to the event's overall efficiency.

Ambang Priyonggo, Head of the Banten Customs Regional Office, emphasized the office's commitment to providing excellent service. He stated that the TPPB facility not only supports smooth international exhibitions but also helps promote the industry, increase trade activities, and attract investors and businesses to Indonesia. Customs also provides expedited licensing and selective customs inspections based on risk management, ensuring efficient goods flow while maintaining oversight.
