Barcelona signs U.S. goalkeeper Tyler McCamey until 2028

FC Barcelona has secured the signing of American goalkeeper Tyler McCamey, who commits to the club for the next two seasons, extending until June 30, 2028. The 24-year-old, born in Atlanta, arrives on a free transfer from Dallas Trinity of the American league. She will share goalkeeping duties with Cata Coll and Gemma Font, following the departure of Txell Font to Badalona Women.

McCamey's move to Barcelona marks her first professional experience outside the United States. Prior to turning professional, she played collegiately for four seasons at Princeton University. Her professional career includes stints with Gotham FC and Kansas City Current before her most recent season with Dallas Trinity.

In her last season, McCamey played 16 matches, conceding 21 goals and keeping a clean sheet in three of those games. Dallas Trinity finished the regular season in fourth place, ultimately being eliminated in the semifinals of the playoffs by Lexington.
