In a statement released Wednesday, Daniel Alabrah, the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Douye Diri, asserted that no proposal to move the college is currently before the governor. Alabrah clarified that Governor Diri has neither approved any committee recommendation for such a move nor is the issue under government consideration. Both the College of Health Sciences at NDU and the Bayelsa Medical University currently face limitations in their annual admission quotas.
