Belgrade Faculty of Chemistry Vandalized with Anti-Student and Anti-Rector Graffiti

The building of the Faculty of Chemistry at the University of Belgrade was subjected to extensive vandalism overnight, with its facade defaced by numerous graffiti slogans. Images circulating on social media reveal the extent of the damage, showing the front entrance completely covered in spray-painted messages.

The graffiti included provocative and offensive statements such as "Serbia Wins," "Rector to Jail," and "Blockaders are Ustaše," among others. These messages appear to target both the university's rector and student groups who have participated in recent blockades, reflecting a deeply polarized environment within the academic community and beyond.

This act of vandalism has been widely condemned as scandalous and unacceptable, highlighting a concerning trend of aggressive rhetoric and disrespect for educational institutions.
