Benito Juárez removes 19 illegally parked motorcycles, continues operations to clear roadways

Benito Juárez authorities have removed 19 motorcycles from public streets for illegal parking as part of ongoing efforts to reclaim public spaces and improve traffic flow. The operation, carried out by elements of Blindar BJ360° and the Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC), focused on the Santa Cruz Atoyac and Del Valle Sur neighborhoods.

Mayor Luis Mendoza stated that the joint effort with the Mexico City Transit Control Undersecretariat allows for timely action. The impounded motorcycles are being transported to the Coyoacán Vehicle Depository, located at Viaducto Tlalpan 3333, Santa Úrsula Coapa.

Owners of the removed motorcycles will be required to pay a fine for the traffic violation and present documentation proving ownership to reclaim their vehicles. Mendoza emphasized that the well-being of residents is a priority and urged citizens to respect parking regulations for the benefit of all.

These types of operations are set to continue throughout the demarcation to ensure better public spaces and efficient mobility. The initiative aims to maintain order and facilitate smoother traffic for residents and visitors.
