Elderly man killed by trailer in Monterrey after being pushed by a young man

An elderly man has died in Monterrey, Nuevo León, after being struck by a trailer. The incident occurred at the intersection of Ruiz Cortines and José Ángel Conchello avenues in the Victoria neighborhood.

Initially reported as an accidental pedestrian-vehicle collision, a review of C4 security camera footage revealed a different scenario. Authorities from Mobility and the Monterrey Police observed that the victim was allegedly pushed before falling into the street.

According to the footage analysis, a young man walking in the area approached the elderly man and allegedly shoved him, causing him to lose his balance. The elderly man then fell into the path of an oncoming trailer on Ruiz Cortines Avenue, resulting in fatal injuries.

The suspect reportedly fled the scene immediately after the alleged assault. Investigations are ongoing to locate the individual and determine his responsibility in the man's death. Paramedics confirmed the victim's death at the scene. The identities of both the deceased and the suspect have not yet been released.
