Bilić completes Croatia coaching staff with Premier League and HNL experts

Slaven Bilić, the newly reappointed manager of the Croatian national football team, has finalized his coaching staff for his second term. Bilić, who previously led the team, has brought back familiar faces and added new expertise to his support team.

Nikola Jurčević will serve as an assistant coach, alongside Danilo Butorović and Dean Računica, mirroring Bilić's first tenure. Vatroslav Mihačić will continue as the goalkeeping coach. The appointments reflect Bilić's strategy of building a team with individuals he trusts and has worked with previously.

To strengthen the team's physical conditioning, Bilić has appointed two new fitness coaches: Nick Davies, an Englishman with extensive experience in the Premier League, and Fedor Kulušić, from the academy of NK Rijeka. Davies, 48, has a notable career, having worked with clubs such as Charlton, West Ham, Birmingham City, Norwich City, and Tottenham Hotspur, as well as the Welsh national team and ATK in India. He most recently served on David Moyes' staff at Everton.

Kulušić, 39, has prior experience working with Bilić at Saudi Arabian club Al Fateh and previously with Al-Batin. His appointment, along with Davies', signals a commitment to enhancing the team's fitness levels with specialized, international-standard coaching. Bilić is known for his ability to assemble strong teams, and this latest staff selection indicates his intent to build a competitive squad for future challenges.
