Bishkek Bus Station to Increase Holiday Routes

As the holiday season approaches, Bishkek's central bus station is ramping up its services to accommodate increased travel demand. The city's transportation department announced a significant boost in intercity routes, particularly to the popular destinations of Issyk-Kul and Naryn.

During regular weekdays, approximately 100 vehicles serve these routes. However, for the upcoming holidays, this number is expected to double. This expansion includes deploying larger buses for evening services, ensuring more capacity for travelers heading to these scenic regions. The station's operating hours will remain consistent, from 7:00 AM to 11:30 PM daily, maintaining its usual rhythm despite the surge in passengers.

Beyond domestic travel, Bishkek's bus station continues to facilitate international connections. Regular services to Almaty, Tyumen, Kashgar, and Artush are ongoing. Furthermore, seasonal routes are set to commence on May 15, extending services to cities like Osh, Jalal-Abad, and Batken, catering to the warmer months and increased demand for travel across Kyrgyzstan and to neighboring countries.
