BMW Motorrad Launches F 450 GS and R 1300 RT, Bolstering Premium Motorcycle Segment in Indonesia

BMW Motorrad Indonesia has officially introduced two new premium motorcycles, the F 450 GS and R 1300 RT, at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. These additions are part of BMW Motorrad's strategy to expand its offerings in Indonesia's premium adventure and touring segments.

The F 450 GS marks the model's official debut in the Indonesian market, previously shown as a concept. This entry-level adventure bike features the signature GS family design combined with modern technology for various riding conditions and includes safety and comfort features. The R 1300 RT, a sport tourer, boasts a futuristic design, enhanced comfort, and the latest technology for long-distance travel, continuing the legacy of the RT line.

Narin Thanawutthanant, Head of Customer Support and Operations for BMW Motorrad Region Southeast Asia, highlighted the brand's comprehensive motorcycle lineup, catering to adventure, urban mobility, and touring needs. He invited attendees to visit the BMW Motorrad booth for discussions.

BMW Motorrad Indonesia is offering the F 450 GS at a promotional price of Rp 398.9 million (on the road Jakarta) during GIIAS 2026, with its regular price at Rp 418.9 million. The R 1300 RT is priced at Rp 1.6189 billion (OTR Jakarta).

Additionally, BMW Motorrad Indonesia announced that BMW Motorrad Days 2026 will take place in Bali from September 24-26. This global event, held for over two decades, will convene BMW Motorrad riders from around 50 countries in Bali for activities including group rides, product exhibitions, and entertainment.
