Body of missing boy believed found in Belgium

Belgian authorities have discovered the body of a boy near Onhaye, in the southern part of the country, who is believed to be five-year-old Tymeo Brigou. The child had been the subject of an intensive search since he and his father, Bryan, were last seen in late June.

While the body has not yet been formally identified, police indicated that items found at the scene strongly suggest it is Tymeo. The circumstances surrounding the child's death are currently unknown, and authorities are investigating.

An ongoing concern is the whereabouts of the father, Bryan. Belgian media had previously reported that he was wearing an electronic ankle monitor due to a past conviction for violent offenses. His car was found abandoned in Onhaye shortly after the father and son were reported missing. Police have not commented on whether they suspect foul play or a potential abduction by the father.
