Bravo quickly recovered after European exit

Bravo bounced back quickly from their European competition exit to secure a crucial 2-1 victory over Radomlje in the opening match of Sunday evening's 3rd round of the 1. SNL.

The win marks Bravo's second league triumph this season, temporarily placing them level with Nafta at the top of the league table. In contrast, Radomlje remains with only one point, despite having several promising opportunities and scoring what they believed were two goals. However, both were disallowed after VAR reviews, one for handball and another for offside.

The match in Domžale began energetically. Radomlje thought they had taken the lead in the 11th minute when Vanja Pelko scored from close range after a rebound, but the goal was disallowed for handball following a VAR review. Bravo then took the lead in the 24th minute through Jakoslav Stanković, who scored from about ten meters out after a swift attacking move.

Radomlje pressed for an equalizer and thought they had found it in the 50th minute when Pelko scored again, but he was ruled offside. Bravo extended their lead in the 61st minute when Okpo Mazie converted a chance following a quick attack, assisted by Stanković. In the 79th minute, Radomlje was awarded a penalty after Marwann Nzuzi fouled Andrej Pogačar. Jaša Martinčič, returning from injury, converted the penalty in the 80th minute, reducing the deficit. Despite late pressure from Radomlje, Bravo held on for the win.
