This acquisition was featured as one of Smartland's "golden nuggets" from the past 15 years, a period the publication is celebrating with a look back at fun, funny, and forgotten moments. The magazine aims to dust off memories and revisit enjoyable events from its existence.

Beyond the notable vehicle purchase, Morthens also made a fashion statement by buying jeans from the women's department.
