Bukayo Saka Decides Tight Arsenal Win Over Aston Villa

Bukayo Saka settled a closely fought match for Arsenal, scoring from close range before the hour mark to secure a 1-0 victory over Aston Villa at Villa Park in Birmingham.

The result gave the defending champions two wins from their first two Premier League matches in the 2026/27 season. Arsenal have now started the league campaign with consecutive victories for the seventh time in eight seasons, including each of the past five seasons.

Arsenal did not produce their best performance, but managed the match effectively and took advantage of a decisive chance.
