Buleki targets stronger Fijiana response

Vodafone Fijiana XVs winger Adi Vani Buleki expressed confidence in the team's ability to deliver a stronger performance against the Springbok Women in their upcoming match in Lautoka. Buleki, who scored on her XVs debut last week, acknowledged the team's 55-12 loss to South Africa in Suva but emphasized that the focus has shifted to improvement.

She admitted to feeling nervous during her first XVs match for Fiji on home soil but was pleased with her debut try. Buleki believes her prior experience with the Fiji 7s team and the Western Force has significantly aided her adaptation to the longer 15s format of the game.

She says she was nervous playing XVs for Fiji for the first time at home but was pleased to score on debut.

Playing alongside former sevens teammates has also eased her transition into the XVs squad. Buleki is now aiming to build on her debut performance and score more tries against the Springboks in the upcoming fixture. The Fijiana XVs are scheduled to face the Springboks tomorrow at 1 p.m. at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
