Çankaya Municipality Operation Criticized; Deputy Mayor Claims Data Not Provided, Alleges Political Motive

An operation was carried out at the Çankaya Municipality early this morning, drawing strong criticism from CHP officials regarding the investigation's procedures. Following the operation, Deputy Mayor Anıl Çetin stated that crucial evidence, including copies of computers, digital data, and files, was not provided to the municipality's legal team.

CHP's Yüksel Işık and Deputy Mayor Anıl Çetin publicly denounced the manner in which the investigation was conducted. They asserted that the municipal legal department was excluded from the process. The officials emphasized that they did not receive copies of the digital materials examined during the inquiry.

Çetin and Işık strongly suggested that the operation was politically motivated. Their statements indicate a belief that the investigation is not a genuine pursuit of justice but rather a targeted action against the municipality, implying a political agenda behind the enforcement actions.
