Chelsea reportedly lists 11 players for summer exit amid squad overhaul

Chelsea is reportedly looking to offload 11 players this summer as the club continues a significant squad overhaul. This move follows an extensive spending spree of over £300 million on new signings. The club aims to reduce its squad size while integrating new talent.

Among the players reportedly placed on the transfer list are Enzo Fernández, Pedro Neto, Malo Gusto, Benoît Badiashile, Axel Disasi, Trevoh Chalobah, Marc Guiu, David Datro Fofana, Liam Delap, and Nicolas Jackson. Trevoh Chalobah is rumored to be close to a £31 million transfer to Serie A club Como, and Pedro Neto has been linked with a reunion with coach Enzo Maresca at Manchester City.

Chelsea's pre-season preparations have yielded inconsistent results. The team secured a high-scoring 6-4 victory against Western Sydney Wanderers, showcasing attacking flair but also defensive weaknesses. However, subsequent matches saw a 2-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur and a narrow 1-0 defeat against Juventus. Across these three games, Chelsea scored seven goals and conceded seven, indicating areas for improvement before the Premier League campaign begins. The club is scheduled to play further friendlies against AC Milan, Johor Darul Ta’zim, and Real Sociedad.
